MAFCU Approved as SBA Lender
The US Small Business Administration (SBA) recently approved MAFCU as an SBA Lender with SBA Express and SBA Patriot Express designations. SBA Express allows MAFCU to offer members faster turnaround and more flexibility when they apply for small business loans. SBA Patriot Express means MAFCU can offer faster turnaround and additional flexibility to help veterans, reservists, National Guard members, and their spouses who apply for small business loans.
The Credit Union received these prestigious designations after undergoing a thorough and intensive review process. "Being approved as an SBA Lender enhances our ability to meet the lending needs
of small businesses," says Michael Shuman, MAFCU's Vice President of Lending. The Credit Union offers small businesses personalized services and competitive products to help owners grow their
businesses.
The SBA is a federal agency that counsels, assists, and protects the interest of small businesses, and is the nation's largest financial backer of small businesses. Nearly 20 million small businesses have
received help from the SBA since the agency was founded in 1953.
