Thanks to All Who Helped Kids Get Ready for School

MAFCU members once again helped homeless children get ready for school by participating in the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless' Annual Back to School Drive. The Credit Union collected dozens of such school supplies as backpacks, notebooks, pens and pencils, and paper. MAFCU members have helped homeless kids get ready for school for the past four years.
Generous Donations
Many thanks go to all who participated in the Boston HealthCare for the Homeless Program's Sock Drive, and the Massachusetts Credit Union League's Children's Book Drive. MAFCU members and staff donated more than 185 pairs of new, white socks and flip-flops to the Sock Drive--items which are used to help prevent the spread of infection in homeless people. The generosity didn't stop there--more than 90 books were donated to Seton Manner, located in Brighton, Massachusetts, during the Children's Book Drive. The Credit Union participates annually in these drives.
