MAFCU ATM cardholders now can make SURCHARGE-FREE transactions at more than 35,000 ATMs nationwide including Target, Costco, CVS, and Walgreens through the Allpoint ATM network.

Please note:  If the surcharge screen appears during your Allpoint ATM transaction, press "yes" to accept the surcharge and proceed with your withdrawal.  You will NOT be charged the surcharge, or Allpoint will refund your money.

Allpoint is the country's largest surcharge-free ATM network.  Members also can continue to use ATMs in the SUM network as well as MAFCU-owned ATMs.

That's SUM Convenience

MAFCU ATM cardholders never get charged a fee when they make a transaction at a MAFCU ATM. As a member of the SUM ATM network, members who have an ATM/Debit card and a MAFCU Share Draft Checking Account get 8 surcharge-free transactions each month at any SUM ATM anywhere in the country. That means you can check your account, withdraw cash, or make a deposit (at a designated ATM) eight times monthly at a SUM ATM.

The SUM network includes more than 2,500 ATMS nationwide. So if you are travelling, on vacation, or just can't get to a MAFCU ATM, you still can get easy access to your account no matter where you are.

ATM Safety Tips

Here are some tips to protect your identity while using a ATM.

  • Do not write your Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your ATM/Debit card envelope.
  • Be aware of who is around the ATM.  If you observe someone who may appear suspicious, use another ATM at another location.
  • Have your ATM or Debit card readily available for use when you are ready to use the machine.  This will make your transaction faster and easier since you won't waste time searching for your card.
  • Put money away immediately after using the machine, and count it later.
  • Don't let anyone see you enter your PIN.
