We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Specialist to be an integral part of the Lending department as the principal processor of mortgage and home equity loans. The Mortgage Loan Specialist is the key point of contact with existing and prospective customers as well as mortgage brokers for all first and second mortgages and home equity loans. This position is responsible for taking loan applications, data input into the Point LOS system, sending required disclosures in a timely manner, HMDA reporting, and setting up loan files for review by the VP of Lending. The successful candidate will discuss mortgage options with customers and have knowledge of all the loan products we offer as well as assist with consumer loan closings. The Mortgage Loan Specialist reports to and works closely with the VP of Lending.

Hours: Monday through Friday 8 to 4:30 pm and Saturdays 8:45 to 1:15 pm (on a rotation basis)

We are seeking a customer-service-oriented individuals for entry-level Member Service Representative positions. A High School diploma and previous customer service/cash handling experience in a financial institution are required at a minimum. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a college degree and previous customer service/cash handling experience in a financial institution. Knowledge of a second language is advantageous.
While we have an opening at each branch, we reserve the right to assign the successful candidates to either branch to accommodate our business needs. As part of our ongoing training we rotate our staff through both branches on a regular basis. Flexibility related to work schedule and location is a plus.
Our Longwood branch is easily accessible from the Longwood "E" Green line stop. The work schedule at this location is Monday through Friday (8 am to 4:30 pm) with a rotation of working late Thursdays (9:30 am to 6:00 pm) and early Fridays (6:45 am to 3:15 pm) with Saturday rotation at the Brookline branch (8:45 am to 1:15 pm). If scheduled to work on Saturday, the Wednesday before has shortened hours.
Our Brookline branch is easily accessible from the Brookline Hills "D" Green line stop. The work schedule at this location is Monday through Friday (8 am to 4:30 pm) with a rotation of working late Thursdays (10 am to 6:30 pm) or late Fridays (9 am to 5:30 pm) with Saturday rotation (8:45 am to 1:15 pm). Established in 1952, MAFCU serves more than 90 affiliates and 10,000 members, with branches located in the Longwood Medical Area and Brookline. We are expanding to serve the lending needs of our members in the Dorchester Lower Mills area as well as individuals and businesses in the area.
This is a unique opportunity to assume a full range of responsibilities across key functional areas, while utilizing your technical and analytical skills. Under the general direction of the VP of Operations, the IT/Operations Analyst is responsible for the effective operation and support of MAFCU’s computer systems and network. You will conduct research and evaluate trends and new technologies in the industry to advise management in determining applicability across all functional areas. You will make recommendations and assist in the implementation of technology-based solutions in support of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline business processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality member service. Some of the responsibilities will include day-to-day technology and operations support. Similarly, you will consult with technology vendors and escalate high level technical issues to the appropriate party. You will assist with hardware and software installations and maintenance as well as general network, security and system administration. You will prepare and provide technology training to all departments. You will support Senior Management in the vendor and risk management process.
