Sign up for eStatements

EStatements are a fast and convenient way to receive monthly account information electronically. With eStatements, members have quicker access to their accounts 24 hours a day, and can eliminate the need to wait for paper statements to be mailed. In addition, members who have MAFCU checking accounts are eligible to receive free Bill Payer service when signing up for eStatements.

Notification

Members are notified each month (usually within 2 to 3 days at the end of the month) that their eStatements are ready for downloading. Members sign onto a secure web site using a login ID and password to access their statements. Members then save the file on their computers.

View Paid Checks

If you want to review the paid check, simply click on "CLEARED DRAFT (number)." An image of the paid check will appear on the screen. The check can then be saved to a file or printed for reference.

Dual Authentication Is Here

MAFCU now offers dual authentication for Online Banking, an online security system that strengthens the security of online transactions.

  • When you first log-on to Internet Banking with this new security feature, you will select your own secret image and set up an image caption. You will always see a display of your image and image caption before you are asked to enter your password.
  • This new authentication method allows the security system to authenticate your computer to ensure that the sign-in is not a fraudulent attempt to access your account information.
  • With your first log-on of the new system, you will be asked to setup challenge questions that will be used for verification purposes if the security system does not recognize your computer.

If you experience any difficulty with this process, please call 617-278-5600 and press 1 for Member Services.

"MAFCU is committed to providing the most secure online access to your accounts," says Ann-Marie Gordon, Vice President of Operations. "Dual authentication is another layer of online security. Remember that once you've signed up, never enter personal information such as your password without seeing your personal security image first."
