Nicole James, President and CEO
Nicole James has
been President and CEO of MAFCU since 2001. She has more than 20 years
of credit union experience. James received a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Boston
University, and earned a Juris Doctor from the Suffolk University
School of Law. James currently serves as Chair of the Board of
Directors of Credit Union on Line (CUOL). She is a member of the
Massachusetts Credit Union League's Board of Directors and is Chair of
the Social Responsibility Committee.
Paul Amato, Vice President of Finance
Paul Amato
has more than twenty years of senior-level financial accounting
experience in the community banking industry. He previously served as
Vice President and Controller at North Middlesex Savings, and held the
same position at Abington Savings Bank. Amato also has served as a
consultant, advising small business owners and financial institutions.
Amato holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Salem State
College and is working toward his Masters in Accounting at Southern New
Hampshire University.
Ann-Marie Gordon, Vice President of Operations
Ann-Marie
Gordon has worked at MAFCU since 1985. She oversees the daily
operations of the Credit Union including managing the loan and member
service departments. Gordon is a graduate of the University of the West
Indies and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.
Sarita Ledani, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing
Sarita
Ledani has more than twenty-five years of marketing and corporate
communications experience. Prior to joining MAFCU in 2002, she was
principal of Ledani Communications, and director of corporate
communications at MASCO. Ledani has undergraduate degrees from
University of Massachusetts/Boston and Hebrew College.
Viana Lucchesi, Vice President of Human Resources and Administrative Services
Viana
Lucchesi oversees the administrative and human resources functions at
MAFCU. She joined the Credit Union in 1997 after working at Brigham and
Women's Hospital since 1990. Lucchesi has a Bachelor of Science Degree
from Northeastern University.
Michael Shuman, Vice President of Lending
Michael
Shuman has been with MAFCU since 2002, and has more than twenty years
of experience in the financial services industry. He oversees MAFCU's
lending function, including consumer loans, mortgages, and business
loans. Shuman has an undergraduate degree from University of
Massachusetts/Amherst, and an MBA from Suffolk University.
